Please follow steps 1 through 7 to configure your scanner with athenahealth.
Step 1. Download your scanner driver from the list below on the page.
Step 2. Click your download driver file to install your scanner driver.
Step 3. Plug in your scanner.
Step 4. Download and Install AMBIRscan for athenahealth.
Step 5. Click your downloaded AMBIRscan for athenahealth software to install your software.
Step 6. The latest version of AMBIRscan for athena only requires a license key for 3rd party scanners (non-AMBIR brand).
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using a 3rd party scanner, you will be prompted for a license key after your first scan. If you have a license key, you may enter it at that time. You may also enter the license key at any time by hitting “About” and then “Enter New License Key” within the software.
Step 7. Scan your card or document and add into athenahealth.
