A real designer's canvas, sized to the way you work.

The canvas is the same regardless of label size — rulers, an optional dot grid, snap-to-edge alignment, and a properties panel that switches contextually based on the selected object. Eight object types cover virtually every commercial label workflow.
  • Text: Any system font, B/I/U styling, letter spacing, alignment.
  • Image: PNG / JPG / BMP with aspect-ratio lock and reset-to-original.
  • Shape: Rectangle, circle, line — fill, stroke color, stroke width.
  • Address block: Line spacing presets, 0/90/180/270° rotation.
  • Counter, Date/Time, Barcode — each with dedicated controls.
File import interface with instructions

Spreadsheets become labels in seconds.

Drop a CSV or Excel file onto the import dialog and AmbirLabel parses your headers automatically. Map columns to text or barcode objects, preview every record, and select exactly which rows to print — no scripting, no field codes.
  • Formats: CSV, .xlsx (Excel 2007+), .xls (Excel 97–2003).
  • Address mode: Specialized mapping for Name, Address, City, State, ZIP.
  • Per-record selection: Pick which rows to include in the batch.
  • Variable barcodes: Generate unique Code 128 or QR for each row.

The integrated print dialog speaks directly to your AMBIR LP400 or LP230 driver. Choose orientation, paper size and copy count, and the live preview reflects exactly what comes out of the printer — no surprise margins, no clipped barcodes.

  • Scaling: Actual Size 100%, Fit to Printable Area, or Custom %.
  • Batch navigation: Step through every label in a multi-record run.
  • Driver agnostic: Any installed Windows / macOS printer is selectable.
  • Media-aware: Reflects the LP-series 2.36″ × 1.34″ default media.
