Warehouse Lead

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Lead supports the daily operations of the warehouse by overseeing the fulfillment of customer orders, processing inbound shipments, kitting, testing and processing returns, and maintaining overall space management. This role requires a highly organized detail-oriented individual who can effectively collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse management.

Basic Functions:

  • Oversee the processing, picking, packing, and shipment of customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Manage the receiving of incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy and quality of deliveries.
  • Ensure proper documentation and storage of received goods.
  • Oversee the assembly of kits, ensuring all components are included and accurately packaged.
  • Develop and maintain kitting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Support to understand customer requirements and expectations.
  • Maintain a record and ensure compliance will all customer-specific requirements and guidelines.
  • Oversee the QA testing and processing and/or repair and repackaging of returned items (RMA’s), determining their condition and disposition.
  • Manage accurate reporting and the return-to-stock process.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories,
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe at all times.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company policy and enforce safety standards and procedures are followed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain management.

Other Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • You must have excellent time management, organization, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and implement customer requirements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in a related field is preferred.
